New Year’s and all that happy horseshit. As I sit in the airport sunburned as fuck, I am working on a new Killer Workouts entry starring a man I hated more than an airborne version of AIDS every time I interacted with him- Craig “Worst Criminal in Fucking History” Titus.
That is nearing completion (it’ll likely drop tomorrow), but I took some much needed R&R the past two weeks and I didn’t want you guys to think I’d disappeared. Since my triumphant return last December, I’ve written more than any human being in the history of the written word, I think, and I was burned the fuck out. Luckily, my in laws paid for a belated elopement present in the form of a twelve day cruise that I’ll be recounting a bit for the Patreon crew, and of which Tara has some amusing pics, including pics with a British guy who randomly looked like my long-lost twin.
In short, new shit drops this weekend, and I’ll continue ramping up the insanity as we go. We’ll also have a site overhaul coming in the next month (I hope), and I’ll be firing up the camera for some training vids as I decide whether or not to pull a random ringer appearance in a meet to fuck up some young bucks on the platform (which is exactly how I plan to do it, though it looks like I’ll have a whole Plague crew with me if it happens).
So bear with me as I plow through the cannabis-and-rum-drenched haze and attempt to drop the hardest training shit ever written on you guys- it will be worth the wait.
News Today…
Are you believing the morning papers?
War is coming back in style
There’s generals here, advisors there, and Russians nibbling everywhere
The chessboard’s filling up with red, we make more profits when we blow off their heads
[Chorus 1]
Economy is looking bad, let’s start another war (When ya get drafted!)
Fan the fires of racist hatred, we want total war (When ya get drafted!)
[Verse 2]
Drooling fingers, panic buttons
Playing with missiles like they’re toys
There’s easy money, easy jobs especially when you build the bombs that blow big cities off the map
Just guess who profits when we build ’em back up?
[Chorus 2]
Yeah, what Big Business wants Big Business gets, it wants a war (When ya get drafted!)
Trilateral Commission goonies laugh and scheme for more (When ya get drafted!)
Call the Army, call the Navy, stocked with kids from slums (When ya get drafted!)
If you can’t afford a slick attorney, we might make you a spy!
[Chorus 3]
Forget your demonstrations, kids today sit on their ass (When ya get drafted!)
Just a six-pack and you’re happy, we’re prepared for when ya get drafted
When ya get drafted!

Thought you weren’t a fan of cannabis.
Also question/recommendation–years ago you recommended the book the Gray Man and it’s become one of my favorite fiction series. Any more like it you’d recommend?
One I’ve found like it is the Victor the Assassin series by Tom Wood, but that’s it. A lot of those type books end up jerking off about how goody-two shoes the main character is. I don’t want the protag to be a villain, but I don’t need a constant reminder he’s not a bad guy because he’s shooting bad people or protecting others or whatever (looking at you, Brad Thor). That, and they use the govt agencies as a get-out-of-jail-free card in a lot of tight situations, which gets annoying–I like seeing how creative you can get to get a guy out of a bad scenario.
I wasn’t in the past, but I’ve come to find that the difference between good and bad weed is very much like good and bad pizza- one is damn near sexual and the other is essentially unfit even for the garbage.
I stopped reading those books years ago- they all sort of melded into the same shit after awhile, and you couldn’t tell one from another. If you want actioners that are more noir and not superpatriot propoganda, check out Douglas Winters’ Run (just get it immediately- that book literally raises your pulse reading it, Charlie Huston’s Henry Thompson Trilogy, and Victor Gischler’s Gun Poets. Not secret agent shit, but more along the lines of Reacher novels, if that guy were a far, far better writer.
Ah yeah, I like weed but don’t use it much (partially due to illegality in my state). More of an alcohol guy.
That’s another issue with those type books. Thanks for the recs, I’ll check those out. Actually reading a Reacher novel right now, I think I like the lone operator/single aspect more than the secret agent part. That’s what’s good about the Victor series–nonstop action, he’s a freelance assassin and there’s not a gov’t that has his back that can swoop in and fix things. Run especially seems interesting.
Thanks, Jamie, can’t wait! Definitely want to hear about your experience with Titus
It was pretty limited, haha, but the anecdote’s in there. I ran into him on three separate occasions and none of them improved my opinion of him. https://plagueofstrength.com/killer-workouts-craig-titus-part-one-dude-you-dont-get-this-big-without-doing-steroids/
