Juicy Delts 2 is the follow up to the original Juicy Delts, and is bigger, louder, and more badass!
This go-round, you’re going to shrink your waist with an unholy volume of old-school waist-trimming exercises while using supersets and tri-sets to build up your upper body, carve in deep separation, and create a massive difference between your shoulders and waist, so you can become the same kind of walking optical illusion that old school bodybuilders and Hollywood actors use to look HUGE onscreen while still looking good in clothes.
JD2 is a 24pg ebook with a detailed breakout of the historically-based Meat and Potatoes Diet, which was created using data from the most jacked and badass athletes of the pre-steroids era from around the world- from the sumo of Japan to the strongmen and women of Iceland to the psychotic rough-and-tumble fighters of the 19th century. It shows you how to break down your macros and calculate your daily needs, has links to LOADS of citations backing up the diet as well as dozens of dope recipes you can use to get jacked.
The program is contained in an excel spreadsheet and consists of 5 days per week of training, 3 days of ~90min workouts and 2 days of ~60min workouts, and all of the reasoning behind my exercise choices and program structure is listed in the book!
The training methods you’ll see inside will be pretty unfamiliar, but if you’ve read my other books, you’ll see the logic immediately.
- Broomstick twists are littered throughout the program because they help immensely with pulling the abs back into the ribcage (most of us have pushed ours out into our laps from bracing during heavy squats)
- there are Soviet conditioning methods for shoulders, because Soviet boxers and wrestlers had the best shoulders ever
- old timey exercises you’ve never done are supersetted with new age fitness exercises (that it turns out actually aren’t useless)
- and you will be doing a lot of burpees, because nothing melts fat off a person faster than that officially delightful exercise
