At the moment, I’m working on a Books, Movies, and Music article as a bit of a break from churning out 300 world articles for Bodybuild3r (shit like this) and the incredibly labor intensive MXPD series. While I’m finishing that up, you can check out this interview I did with Vita Brevis this week. If you’ve ever been curious about what my writing process is like, I outline it a bit in the interview. The site title comes from the Latin “Ars longa, vita brevis” which basically translates to “life is short, art is long,” so the interview is much more about my process and my journey in supplements and this site, as opposed to training and diet. you guys always ask for slice of life shit, and I despise writing about myself, so there you go- it’s as close as you’re gonna get.

Good interview, some facts of you I wouldn’t have guessed.
Answer number I liked.
By the way and delving into 365 book:
From “An introduction to Anti-programming” to “Do it. Dont talk about it”, one of the best advice on following your guts and passion, not only in the lifting realm.
Anything you do(art, lifting, etc) is your own expression of that trait.
Only those who follow their own callling are truly expressing themselves, regardless of material/financial gains.
If not, no matter what other people say or the money/sex/power you get: you are fucking less. A copycat. Third rate.
Like those shitty 80’s metal bands trying to capitilize on the Van Halen /Whitesnake thing, a JOKE.
You have your own individuality and talents, USE them.
If not for the old blog I wouldn’t have started to lift sandbags and frequently, because I was afraid to hurt my back (it is fused with titanium rods).
I cannot understand how anyone reading this articles don’t feel the urge to lift like maniacs.
Talking about lifting like a beast, where is Glen?
To all the haters, know this: you are less than Jamie and you know it, hahaha.

Was cool to hear how you got burnt out and spent a year getting wasted, then started pulling yourself back together. I’m doing the same thing at the moment. Partying with people is addictive. Hard to break away from it. How much did you train during that time?
