Jamie and Tara, my comment is unrelated to the post but wanted to share my gratitude with both of you. Long time reader 7+ years, read every post, rare commenter however. I have purchased the Grimoire of Victual Incantations and put it to good use over the years also. Thank you for the in-depth, insightful, perception flipping content you produce. Before finding your site I was searching high and low, using ineffectual resources like Men’s Health for weight training guidance. I thought I was a “hardgainer” but realized I was just eating like a bitch after reading your I ain’t sweet like that series. The story of the prisoner who went from 165 to 225 lbs still stays with me. Your series on badasses past and present is always inspirational, reading about the interesting lives of those men and women who succeeded in much harder bygone eras pushes me to be better in every way.
I know this site is a labor of love and wanted to let you know that your hard work does not go unappreciated. You’ve changed my life for the better and I can’t thank you both enough.
Hell yeah bro! Thanks for letting us know! That was a super rad (likely unintentional) birthday gift!
